Humanitarian Aid Agencies
There are now hundreds of humanitarian aid agencies working at the local, regional and global scale. Many small, locally-based agencies work are volunteer-based and work towards helping individual villages and groups of people. The larger, global agencies listed here also work at the local level ensuring that givings from “the West” are used well for helping others improve their basic standard of living.
